DIY Street Fair Ferndale 2024 – Ferndale is hosting their free DIY Street Fair in Downtown Ferndale with live music, kids fun, restaurant row and more. This year’s Fair and Funky Art Fair takes place September 20 through September 22, 2024.
Enjoy Showcasing the immense creative energy, independent spirit and innovative talent that can be found throughout the area, the event has something for everyone.
The DIY Fair takes place along 9 Mile & Woodward.
The DIY art event is a free 3-day event in Ferndale, Michigan where local artists, crafters, businesses, groups and organizations, musicians, restaurants, brewers and others who live and work with a do-it-yourself ethic converge for one big celebration. Open to the public – all are welcome.
DIY Dates and Times – FRI 6p-midnight, SAT 11a-Midnight, SUN 11a-9p
DIY Street Fair 2024 Highlights include
The Main Stage – local, popular and up-and-coming bands perform free sets throughout the hours of the fair, day and night
The Restaurant Row – local chefs cook up delicious snacks, lunch & dinner all day long
The Marketplace – local artists, crafters, entrepreneurs and organizations present and sell their work.
The art fair is FREE to attend.
The street fair is organized by a diverse and passionate group of young local leaders who recognize the DIY ethic that thrives throughout the local community and enhances the quality of life in Detroit and surrounding areas.
Among the many special characteristics that push this event beyond the traditional art fair, this event is about community outreach and growth. It aims to be a showcase for local, homegrown, forward thinking solutions, original works, innovative products, businesses and ideas.
