Living and Learning Center Summer Camps – Adaptive needs summer camps for teens and young adults with disabilities located in the Novi / Northville area on the beautiful 12-acre Living and Learning Enrichment Center.
Camp is designed for individuals ages 11 & up. Registration is NOW OPEN for 2025.
Living and Learning Center Summer Camps – About
Camp Willow and Camp Lotus, provide tailored experiences that support each camper’s unique needs while fostering growth, learning, and fun. Camp Lotus is ideal for campers ready to build independence, strengthen social skills, and form meaningful friendships. Camp Willow offers a supportive environment for those who need additional assistance, emphasizing connection, adaptability, and a strong sense of community. Catering specifically to the needs of campers with autism spectrum disorder, summer camp at The Living and Learning Enrichment Center ensures a structured, engaging, and enriching summer experience for all.
Camps run weekly from June 23rd through August 14th, either on a Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedule, depending on the week.

Camp Lotus – A nurturing program designed to promote social skills and personal growth

Living and Learning Center Summer Camps – Facilities
The Living and Learning Enrichment Center’s beautiful 12-acre property provides a safe, supportive environment where campers can explore their passions, develop social and job skills, and form lasting friendships. The Living and Learning Enrichment Center features alpacas, bunnies, chickens, rolling lavender fields, miniature golf, and so much more — offering endless opportunities for exploration, engagement, and fun. Each week also includes exciting field trips and on-campus events.
Living and Learning Center Summer Camps – Independence and FUN
By integrating essential life and social skills into fun, hands-on experiences, natural learning opportunities are created that extend beyond camp, promoting long-term success and skill retention. The Living and Learning Enrichment Center’s dedicated staff fosters a deep sense of respect, compassion, and belonging, empowering each camper to build confidence and independence.
All new campers require an intake to ensure that their needs can be supported.
The goal is to teach all Living & Learning Center summer campers increased independence, social skills, self-advocacy, preparation for adulthood, will include opportunities for inclusion, increased self-esteem in more addition to creating lasting memories and lifelong friendships.
Living and Learning Center Summer Camps 2025 Themes
June 23 – June 26 – Lights, Camera, Action!
Campers will explore the world of performing arts through acting, crafting props, and expressing their creativity. The week ends with an optional talent showcase where everyone’s unique skills can shine.
June 30 – July 3 – Stars and Stripes Celebration
Celebrate all things red, white, and blue with a patriotic week of crafts, outdoor games, and festive fun. Campers will enjoy themed challenges, a picnic party, and star-spangled activities to honor the spirit of Independence Day.
July 7 – July 11 – Splish, Splash, Water Bash
Cool off with a week full of water-themed fun! From exciting water games to ocean-inspired crafts, campers will dive into refreshing activities that celebrate summer’s coolest element—water.
July 14 – July 17 – Cooking, Cultures, and Connection
Embark on a global culinary adventure! Campers will explore world cuisines, create delicious dishes, and engage in projects inspired by diverse cultures—celebrating the flavors and traditions from around the world.
July 21 – July 25 – STEM Science Spectacular
Ignite curiosity with a week of hands-on STEM exploration! Campers will dive into exciting projects like building robots, making slime, and launching rockets while solving creative science and engineering challenges.
July 28 – July 31 – All-Star Sports
Get active and embrace teamwork during All-Star Sports week! Campers will play a variety of sports, participate in relay races and obstacle courses, and celebrate everyone’s achievements through fun and friendly competition.
August 4 – August 8 – Down on the Farm
Experience life on the farm with hands-on animal encounters! Campers will care for alpacas, chickens, and bunnies while discovering the wonders of farm life and connecting with nature.
August 11 – August 14 – Back to Nature Adventures
Wrap up summer with outdoor adventures! Campers will explore nature through guided walks, hands-on outdoor skills, and creative nature-inspired crafts, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world.
