Oakland County Parks Summer Camps 2026

Oakland County Parks Summer Camps – Oakland County Parks is hosting Outdoor Discovery Camps for kids 6-11 this summer at 3 Oakland County Parks – Independence Oaks County Park in Clarkston, Red Oaks County Park in Madison Heights, and Waterford Oaks County Park in Waterford.

Oakland County Parks Summer Camps 2026 – ABOUT

These are summer day camps that run Mondays through Fridays from 9a-3p on select weeks this summer. Extended care is available from 3p-5:30p. Each week there will be a different nature-related theme. OC Parks will provide 1 staff member for each 10 campers. The MAX number of campers each week is 30 children.

Campers will be given the opportunity to use the wonderful features of each of the hosting parks. Kids at Independence Oaks can kayak or swim, kids at Red Oaks will have a chance to visit the Red Oaks Waterpark, and campers at Waterford Oaks will have fun playing throughout the park’s beautiful nature trails.

Typical activities in the Outdoor Discovery Camps include specialty projects, playing games, and going outside for adventures. Lunchtime will featured outdoor picnics and high-spirited games!

Campers will also visit other areas of the park while experiencing nature exploration, outdoor games, wilderness skills, art projects, kayaking, swimming, fishing, archery and more. Each week will have a unique theme.

Campers will also visit other areas of the park while experiencing nature exploration, outdoor games, wilderness skills, art projects, waterpark/swimming, golf and more. Each week will have a unique theme.

Waterford Oaks County Park (2800 Watkins Lake Rd, Waterford, MI 48328)

Campers will also visit other areas of the park while experiencing nature exploration, outdoor games, wilderness skills, art projects, archery, gardening, biking and more. Each week will have a unique theme.
