Oakland University Business Summer Camps – Oakland University School of Business Summer camps for high school students interested in International Business, Economics, Marketing, and Operations Management, and Finance. Interactive and educational camps taught by OU Business faculty designed to help guide high school students on a path toward business goals and college education.
Week-long day camps for students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grade include lunch, field trips, games, and activities with local business leaders. Registration for 2025 business camp is open now.
Oakland University Business Summer Camps 2025
International Economics and China – July 21-25, 2025 from 8:30a-4p
Students will explore economic ideals, business leadership and the global business environment. Attendees will learn about business disciplines and career paths as they hone their team and presentation skills. Relevant field trips give campers a front row view of business in action.
Led by experienced Oakland University business professors and faculty, students gain insight into the components for a rewarding career in business.
Students will learn about
- The beginning fundamentals of a business education
- The global environment of business through the lens of Economics in both the U.S. and China
- Leadership in business
- Business disciplines such as economics, marketing, supply chain management, and finance
- Group dynamics
- Presentation development
Over the course of the summer camp, students will spend mornings and afternoons learning different disciplines used daily in business.
Oakland University Business Summer Camps students will hear from business leaders via presentations, participate in hands-on games and interactive learning activities.
Field trips will be taken to local companies to meet with top executives and partake in exclusive tours of companies such as Stellantis & Fanuc.
