Oakland Yard Athletics Summer Camps – Waterford, MI. DOZENS of fun summer day camp activities for kids ages 5-13 at the Oakland Yard Indoor AND Outdoor facilities. Oakland Yard Summer camps are summer day camps like no other.
Kids experience NERF fun, STEM activities, outdoor water fun, various sports, the famous 200 foot slip ‘n slide, and much more.
Oakland Yard Athletics Summer Camps 2025
Registration is now OPEN for 2025. Half-day, full-day camps are available. Low-cost after-care is available.
Kids staying for the whole day can now bring their own lunch. Monday is pizza day for all kids staying for the afternoon and Tuesday is BBQ day. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, kids bring their own lunch. All drinks throughout the week are provided. Friday is ice cream sundae day for all campers (morning kids and afternoon kids).
Camps are broken off into age groups – (Ages 5-7), (Ages 8-11), (Ages 12-13). One activity each morning, and if the kids stay all day, one more activity in the afternoon. Throughout both morning and afternoon sessions kids will have those extra activities to look forward to like the slip-n-slide, magic shows, big games vs coaches, daily sand castle building contests. The variety of activities is VAST at all Oakland Yard Athletics Summer Camps.

- Half-Day camps run from 9a-noon and cost $150 per week
- Full-Day camps run from 9a-4p and cost $260 per week

This is an open structure camp limited to 15 campers per week. “All seniors will have the freedom of choice ………… this is Camp-X!”

Oakland Yard Summer Camps / Oakland Yard Athletics Facility Features
- Outdoor synthetic field – measuring 60 x 100 yds, fully lit for night games, and ideal for for soccer, football rugby, field hockey, baseball, softball, lacrosse and more.
- South Dome – 72,000 square feet, measures 80 yds x 100 yds. Synthetic turf field with permanent lines for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, football and markers for marching bands.
- North Dome – Measures 45 x 85 yards. The synthetic field can be divided into two sections. For baseball and softball renters, there are 4 extra cages supplied with power for pitching machines (BYO). It measures 45 x 80 yds, has ample spectator area, heated bathrooms (unlike other domes). This dome is used for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, football and other field sports.
- Mini Field – Measures 24x60yds, has synthetic turf with rubber infill, is full lit and is perfect for small practices.
- Basketball Court – This court is regulation size with Gorilla rims and has extra courts running side-to-side for 3-v-3 games. This court is also lit for night play.
- Volleyball Court – Two feet deep sand courts – the best in Southeast Michigan built with sand shipped in from the Lake Michigan area. Enjoy the patio bar, fire pit, music and lots of other activities going on. Wait staff are on hand to bring you your food and drinks.
