TreeRunner Rochester Review
I recently tried out the TreeRunner Oakland University with my daughter and her best friend. We weren’t shy for a big challenge so we opted for the second from the hardest course. It was definitely challenging! Not only was it higher up from the ground, but the obstacles were more difficult than the lower levels. The staff was great…they would call out from below and ask if we wanted any helpful tips. These were quite welcomed when we were stumped, and really helped out! We also appreciated the water cooler stations. The course at OU is beautifully nestled in the forest on the Adams side. It’s a great location and a fun challenge!

The park features 60 obstacles and zip-lines and 5 different courses to explore with varying degrees of difficulty. Courses are designed for “suitable” challenges for kids (ages 7+), teens, and adults. Their highest platform to climb comes in at nearly 38 feet and provides an awesome view of the course below. The dense forests on the campus of OU make this location ideal.
No experience required! There is some training involved, but the end result is lots of adventure. Each climber selects a course at their comfort level and then navigates through it by moving from tree platform to tree platform. The courses include zip lines as well. Climbers move at their own pace and each course requires anywhere from approximately 15 – 30 minutes to complete. A climbing ticket entitles the visitor to unlimited climbs during a three-hour period so you can try out as many courses as you can complete. Park staff members are on-site and available for assistance or questions.

TreeRunner Rochester Mini Golf 2025
Each hole of the 27-hole Putt Putt Forest is different and fun for all ages and abilities. The Rochester course is a bit different in aesthetics, the WB course has more plastic and colorful bumpers… the Rochester course has more of a natural appearance. Both course are extremely picturesque and have plenty of chairs and picnic tables dotting the landscape. Also like WB, the Rochester course provides a great distraction if you’re dropping friends or family off at the TreeRunner course but don’t want to participate in any of the climbing.
TreeRunner Rochester Bounce Forest
The TreeRunner Bounce Forest is filled with brightly colored ropes and walkways that can take you to various rooms and tunnels. The walkways are all connected and some feature tunnels and places to crawl and bounce. The staff at TreeRunner Rochester even like to toss a bunch of soft plastic balls and playground balls into the mix to add to the fun.
TreeRunner Bounce Forest is perfect for kids who might not be old enough or daring enough to try out the aerial tree climbing forest that TreeRunner is known for. Sometimes the aerial ropes courses and ziplines might not be as fun for the younger set. I appreciate that TreeRunner has mini golf and now Bounce Forest in addition the HUGE Aerial Forest.
