OAKLAND COUNTY MEXICAN RESTAURANTS
Here are some of the Troy MI Mexican restaurants we’ve tried since I started OCM. This Mexican restaurant list is by no means complete. You can click on each listed for full reviews and pics. I know a few off-hand I’ve heard about and I haven’t tried yet. At the rate we’re going, we should have ‘em all covered soon enough! TROY MEXICAN RESTAURANTS
El Charro (3651 Rochester Road, Troy, MI, 248-688-9642)
A Macomb County favorite, El Charro expanded to Troy in 2011. I’ve never been a huge fan of El Charro but the service is excellent. I was upset that El Charro did away with their unique system of an “order up counter” and drive-thru system. They ditched this system for standard wait-staff service. (Review – Pics)
Grand Azteca (935 E. Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48085, 248-528-0855)
Grand Azteca Mexican Restaurant has locations in Madison Heights, Fraser, Warren, Troy, and Sterling Heights. Kid-friendly, family-style restaurant with a Big Boy meets Mexican restaurant theme. Decent Mexican food and easy on the pocketbook. (Review – Pics)
La Botana (5947 John R Rd, Troy, MI 48085)
La Botana Mexican Food is a carry-out Mexican restaurant in Troy, Michigan. Their slogan is “Best Mexican Food in Town!” And, they don’t disappoint. La Botana Mexican Food is an “order at the counter” style Mexican restaurant. VERY authentic Mexican food and perfect “to go”. (Review – Pics)
