Troy Recreation Summer Camps 2025 Info – Field trips, sports camps, science camps, day camps, aquatic camps, academic camps, performing arts camps, cheer camps & more. With more than 45 camps available for Troy residents and non-residents, there’s a camp for everyone! Troy Recreation Department has been offering summer camps for over 40 years.
Register online at rec.troymi.gov/programs___events/summer_camps.php or in person at Troy Community Center. Camps begin the week of June 9 and are offered weekly throughout summer. Registration for 2025 begins on February 25 for Troy Residents and February 27.

Troy Recreation Summer Camps – Day Camps – Ages 5-7 / Ages 8-12
These camps are for everyone who wants to get out and play. Day camps are offered Monday–Friday, 9a–4p, with before and after care available for an additional fee. Field trips and outdoor activities all week.

Troy Recreation Summer Camps / Counselor in Training Camps – Ages 13–15
For those who have aged out of Troy Recreation Day Camps. Each week campers will be exposed to what it’s like to be a camp counselor by tagging along with our 5–7-year-old and Safety Town Camps, including tagging along on field trips. Spots limited to 10 campers each week.
NEW! Jr. Lifeguard Program – Ages 13–15
Participants will develop and practice skills to instill confidence, discipline, and awareness of aquatic safety while learning what it takes to be a lifeguard. Camp will meet weekly, Monday–Friday, 8a–4p. Spots limited to 10 campers each week.
Troy Recreation Summer Camps 2025 / Troy Sports Camps – (Grades K-12)
Whether it’s to keep their skills fresh over summer break or learn a new sport, Troy Sports Camps keep kids active and having fun. In partnership with the Troy School District, these camps are coached by many state and area “Coach of the Year” recipients. Camps are available in the following sports

Art Camps – Ages 6-13
For the creative kids who want to learn how to express themselves in new ways! These mini-camps will expose them to difference mediums, techniques, and styles: acrylics, watercolor, pastels, pen & ink, abstract, and collage.
Fame Performing Arts Camp – Grades K-8
This camp is for fans of The Voice, So You Think You Can Dance, or America’s Got Talent. Does your child have a flair for the dramatic or are they shy and you want them to have an experience in front of an audience? Sing, dance, act, and create art projects. This is the chance for your child to experience the performing arts in a safe and fun environment. Friday culminates with an on-stage performance for family and friends. Bring a camera (or phone), you’ll want to preserve this performance!
Troy Recreation Summer Camps – Safety Town – Grades K-1
Kids learn how to stay safe and stay smart at Safety Town. Separated into two camps by age (entering Kindergarten or 1st grade), these camps provide information on how to stay safe at home, on the road, and in public. Topics covered include rules of the road, electrical safety, playground safety, water safety, and more.
Troy Recreation Summer Camps – Rainbow Preschool Camps – Ages 3-5
Camps will include a variety of activities such as: free play, circle time, outdoor play time, and art activities. A small snack will be provided at the end of class time each day. Children must be potty trained and able to take care of their bathroom needs. Camps are led by Rainbow Preschool instructors. Fee includes: Instructions, supplies, and a Rainbow Preschool t-shirt.
