Aim High School Summer Camps 2020 – Tech Camp, Robotics Camp, 3-D Modeling & Animation Camp, and more in Farmington Hills. Enjoy Aim High’s four weeks of summer fun – come one week or for all four! Build a robot, program a microprocessor, progress in academic coursework, hone ACT skills, or simply join new and returning students to make friends and get inspired.
Aim High School, located in Farmington Hills, MI, offers both a summer semester and a tech camp for new and returning students who will be entering grades 6-12 as of Fall 2020. Both all day and half day camp experiences are designed and taught by certified teachers. Students can customize their summer experience to match their individual needs and desires.
NOTE – New students to Aim High are required to schedule a visit with a staff member prior to enrollment.

Aim High School Summer Camps 2020 Summer Camp Options
Summer Semester – Full or half day options are available. The full day option includes academics the first half of the day, and fun activities with social skills and physical fitness for the remainder of the day.
- Full Day – $475/week – 10a – 3p – (drop off begins at 9:30a, pickup at 3p)
- Half Day Morning Only (academics) – $275/week – 10a – 12:30p – (drop off begins at 9:30a, pickup at 12:30pm)
- Half Day Afternoon Only (fun activities) – $200/week – 1p – 3p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3p)
- Weeks 1-3 — $275/week
- Week 4 — $335 (includes additional fee for Arduino Starting Kit)
Combine ½ Day Summer Semester (morning) and ½ Day Tech Camp (afternoon) – 10a – 3:30p (drop off begins at 9:30, pickup at 3:30)
Tech campers can design a full day experience by adding the morning summer semester (academics) for any or all four weeks.

Aim High School Summer Camps 2020 Summer Camps
Hands-on activities give students practical experience in technology-related areas. Campers can choose any number of weeks to participate.
Week 1 – Game Programming
Gain experience using drag-and-drop and script writing programming software to create games similar to Undertale, Spurlunky, Flappy Birds, Centipede, and Zelda.
July 6-9 – $275 – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
Week 2 – Robotics
Build a robot and learn how to program it with the DJI S1 – Robotmaster Robotic Kit. Students use their robots to engage in fun team competition. Students also have the opportunity to learn how to fly drones and practice around the building.
July 13-16 – $275 – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
Week 3 – 3-D Modelling & Animation
Learn the art of 3-D modeling using the Blender software and create your own short animated film, with a similar visual style to the Toy Story movies.
July 20-23 – $275 – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
Week 4 – Arduino*
Learn how to build a circuit using an Arduino Kit. Program a microprocessor with the Arduino program using scripts. Build and code a traffic light and a GPS.
July 27-July 30 – $335 (*includes $60 Additional Fee for Arduino Starting Kit) – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
