Aim High School Summer Camps 2018 – Tech Camps, Robotics Camps, Graphic Design & Video Editing Camps, and more in Farmington Hills. Enjoy Aim High’s four weeks of summer fun – come one week or for all four! Build a robot, program a microprocessor, progress in academic coursework, hone ACT skills, or simply join new and returning students to make friends and get inspired.
Aim High School, located in Farmington Hills, MI, offers both a summer semester and a tech camp for new and returning students who will be entering grades 6-12 as of Fall 2018. Both all day and half day camp experiences are designed and taught by certified teachers. Students can customize their summer experience to match their individual needs and desires.
NOTE – New students to Aim High are required to schedule a visit with a staff member prior to enrollment.

- Week 1 – July 9 -12
- Week 2 – July 16 -19

(Camps run Monday through Thursday each week)
Aim High School Summer Camps 2018 Summer Camp Options
Full or half day options are available. The full day option includes academics the first half of the day, and fun activities with social skills and physical fitness for the remainder of the day.
- Full Day – $475/week – 10a – 3p – (drop off begins at 9:30a, pickup at 3p)
- Half Day Morning Only (academics) – $275/week – 10a – 12:30p – (drop off begins at 9:30a, pickup at 12:30pm)
- Half Day Afternoon Only (fun activities) – $200/week – 1p – 3p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3p)
Combine ½ Day Summer Semester (morning) and ½ Day Tech Camp (afternoon)
Tech campers can design a full day experience by adding the morning summer semester (academics) for any or all four weeks.
- Weeks 1-3 — $550/week
- Week 4 — $610 (includes additional fee for Arduino Starting Kit)
Aim High School Summer Camps 2018 Summer Camps
Hands-on activities give students practical experience in technology-related areas. Campers can choose any number of weeks to participate.
Week 1 – Build a Computer/Programming
Learn how to build a PC. Discover the benefits of building your own computer compared to buying one off the shelf. Also learn programming using GameMaker Studio 2.
July 9-12 – $275 – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
Week 2 – Robotics
Build a robot and learn how to program it with EV3. Engage in fun competition with fellow campers.
July 16-19 – $275 – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
Week 3 – Intro to Graphic Design & Video Editing
Work with the latest graphic design software to create a multi-media project to share with family, friends, YouTube, webpage, etc. Project focuses on learning and utilizing key features in the Adobe CC Suite and other applications to help create and share content.
July 23-26 – $275 – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
Week 4 – Arduino*
Learn how to build a circuit using an Arduino Kit. Program a microprocessor with the Arduino program using scripts. Build and code a traffic light and a GPS.
July 30-August 2 – $335 (*includes $60 Additional Fee for Arduino Starting Kit) – 1p – 3:30p – (drop off begins at 12:30p, pickup at 3:30p)
