AirFree Onix 3000 Air Purifier Review

AirFree Onix 3000 Air Purifier Review – This purifier doesn’t use a filter and claims to destroy mold spores, bacteria, dust mites, and viruses while reducing allergens.

I was asked recently to review the AirFree Onix 3000 Air Purifier. We love air purifiers in our home so I was very interested in seeing how this compared to others we have used and to write this review.

The AirFree Onix 3000 Air Purifier claims to address indoor air contaminants thereby providing good air quality indoors. This is helpful for those affected by respiratory diseases and allergies. Contaminated indoor air includes fungus, airborne allergens, pollens, and ozone. They can trigger asthma, bronchitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, infections, headaches, cough and much more.

The AirFree technology destroys mold spores, bacteria, viruses, dust mites, pet dander, and other airborne organic microorganisms. It also reduces airborne allergens providing a better environment for those with allergies.

We placed the air purifier in my daughter’s room since she suffers greatly from airborne allergens and recently was suffering from a severe case of full body rash and eczema. We had taken her to several doctor appointments, she was put on strong meds and was given prescription strength ointments. With all this care, we threw in the use of the AirFree Onix 3000 Air Purifier. The air purifier covers 650 square feet of space so it easily covered her 11×10 room. The air definitely smelled clean and her condition seemed to improve. There is also a convenient blue nightlight at the top with an adjustable brightness setting.

This Air Purifier does not use a filter. Other air purifiers we’ve used needed to be cleaned routinely. This purifier is different in that it uses a sterilizing ceramic core. Basically air enters the purifier through the air inlets, passes through the sterilizing ceramic core where all microorganisms are destroyed at high temperatures, and then through the cooling chamber so that cold and clean air are put out of the unit without significant change in room temperature or humidity.

The futuristic-looking AirFree Air Purifier runs completely silent, weighs slightly over 3 pounds, and is only about 10 inches tall. There is no cleaning necessary. You just plug it in and let it do its thing.

The ease of use with this model, along with its effectiveness make this an attractive air purifying option. You can purchase at just about any online home retailer (Home Depot, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond
