To be honest, I had a bit of a difficult time finding it. There are many entrances to the shopping complex, but none of them can get to all the stores. So, depending on which door you go into, you may have to exit and go back in through a different door like I did. There’s not much signage inside that directs you either. And, there isn’t a large store signage outside to designate the entrance for the restaurant. But, I found it eventually, and am so glad I did.

Alexandria Mediterranean Cuisine has a great dining room with some booths, tables, and a bar. It’s clean, modern, and a very pleasant atmosphere with a ton of natural light. The staff is genuine and kind. Most of our local Mediterranean restaurants unfortunately do not have the best date night dining atmosphere. This restaurant does fit the bill, it’s quite charming and welcoming.
OAKLAND COUNTY MEDITERRANEAN RESTAURANTS
The restaurant’s menu offers a full Mediterranean menu filled with the favorites – shawarma, shish tawook, shish kabobs, falafel, grape leaves, lamb, and so much more. The menu is quite extensive. I ordered the Shish Tawook with the classic seasoning and my friend had the Tawook Salad. We were both beyond impressed by the quality, flavor, quantity and presentation of the food. My Shish Tawook was served with a side of fries that were so hot it was like they were served to me fresh out of the fryer. I know it sounds weird to say this, but this rarely happens. I typically get fries that are very warm at best. It’s like they’re the first things to go on the plate and they are waiting on the main entree to finish up. Alexandria’s does it right.
Alexandria Mediterranean Cuisine serves top quality, delicious food. This one ranks up there with my favorite La Saj. Everything was fantastic. They take reservations online so you can be sure to get a seat. You can also place orders online through their website.
