Alpine Academy Preschool Review
Alpine Academy places the children in very small groups, each with its own classroom and teacher. Alpine’s teachers believe the small groups are important in creating a family atmosphere where the children can get to know each other and become good friends. The small groups also allow for more learning.
Alpine’s teachers are energetic and experienced, each of them having worked with young children for many years and having all required credentials. Most importantly, the teachers are kind and generous people who love children.
OAKLAND COUNTY MOMS BUSINESS REVIEWS
At Alpine Academy Preschool, the teachers believe that each child is unique. They observe each child, plan learning activities according to their current interests, and challenge them according to their personal strengths and needs. If your child has a favorite hobby, the teachers would love to know about it. If your child is working on something that is hard for him, or if he is excelling and needs to expand, the teachers would like to help. Alpine’s teachers want each child to learn at his or her own pace and develop his self-confidence.
Alpine Academy’s program finds the perfect balance between academics and fun. You will often see the children rotating work (sounding out new words, measuring distances, counting money, etc…) with play (dancing, painting, building castles, etc…) The goal is to help the children get ready for Kindergarten and have fun with their friends at the same time.
Alpine’s children go outside nearly every day. There are two big playgrounds, a sandbox, a small sledding hill, and a “cool” race track with low-rider bikes. For rainy days, there is a small indoor gym with plenty of new equipment which the teachers rotate often to keep it interesting.
Alpine’s children also have Spanish with a native-speaking teacher on a regular basis. They sign songs, play games, and learn all kinds of vocabulary. It is amazing how quickly and happily they soak up the Spanish lessons.
Finally, Alpine Academy Preschool is safe and healthy. There is a locking buzzer entry system at the front door, and there are plenty of adults around to help out. There are also strict protocols about cleanliness and caring for the many children at Alpine with allergies and other medical alerts.
If you are looking for a peaceful, friendly place where you and your child will really “click” with the teachers and other families, please call Alpine at 248-814-1111 or visit www.myalpineacademy.com.
