Antojitos Universal Studios Review, pics, and menu info. Antojitos is the Mexican Restaurant located at Universal Studios City Walk. We were able to enjoy dinner there during our recent visit to Universal Studios.
Both the exterior and interior of Antojitos is wildly colorful, modern, and an interior designers dream. It was incredibly impressive, even moreso than the food (see pics below).
There are two levels to Antojitos – the lower level serves more traditional Mexican food (but still high quality and unique) and the upper level serves more “gourmet” style Mexican food. We opted for the lower level and enjoyed quesadillas, burritos and fajitas.
I was happy to not see any globs of refried beans on our plates, or poorly cooked and seasoned rice. Instead, the food came served with a side of black beans. This seemed more authentic to me. The fajitas were good, but a tad overcooked on the skillet causing the vegetables to be slightly burned. The chips and salsa were very good and the chips were served warm and freshly made. Overall the food was good, but not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, which was what I was kind of expecting after seeing both the exterior and interior.

Antojitos Universal Studios Menu consists of uniquely and authentically prepared enchiladas, burritos, tacos, chimichangas, fajitas and more. For example, a seafood cocktail would be served as shrimp and scallops with lime juice, jicama, olives, cucumber, avocados, serrano chile, and cilantro. Pricing ranges from about $14-$20.
Antojitos Universal Studios Up Menu consists of gourmet prepared Mexican style chicken, pork, steak, fish and more. For example, you can order Paella Mexicana and be served Adobo chicken, white shrimp, mussels, chorizo and poblano peppers, finished with tequila. Pricing ranges from $16-$29.
The staff and service at Antojitos Mexican Restaurant at Universal Studios City Walk were top notch. I appreciated the high end, considerate staff and service we experienced during our visit. Management also made rounds to each of the tables to ensure everyone was having a nice dining experience.

Then at bar the bartender as he saw us he called for a Spanish speaking guy!
Later the hostess wanted us to sit us behind the pillar so made negotiate with him to sit in a better place to watch the mariachis singing in english !!! Never saw that!
