These Home Alone Safety classes can often transition to Babysitting Safety classes for tweens and teens that may have to babysit or take care of a younger sibling, or for a paid babysitting gig.

Many of these classes are held by local P&R departments and vary slightly in course descriptions. Some last an hour, some 3 hours, some even 6 hours. Many follow Red Cross Curriculum, and many present certificates of completion. I’ve found these classes to be very informative and provide tremendous “peace of mind” for the child (and their parents).
