Back to school time saving tips for busy moms. I knew the back to school season wasn’t going to be easy, but I didn’t predict that it would be this tough. To make it easier, I have been trying to have my main goal be to do things as soon as I can, instead of putting them off. I find it difficult because the routine is so redundant and I am so tired. But, this really does help matters for the morning routine. I do whatever I can the night before so the mornings aren’t so hectic. Here are a few back to school time saving tips I found that other moms have tried…
Back to School Time Saving Tips for Busy Moms
1 – While you’re cleaning up after dinner, set the table with breakfast dishes and nonperishable items (such as cereal) so you have a head start in the morning.
2 – Laminate a list of must-haves for the diaper bag. Scan it every time you leave the house so you don’t forget anything. Plus it frees up time because you don’t have to think as much about it, or spend time trying to figure out why you feel like you’re forgetting something.
3 – Take your own bath or shower at night. In the morning, roll out of bed and into your clothes.
4 – Prepare the night before. Choose an outfit for you and for every child. Pack lunches. Stock the diaper bag and your work bag so you can just grab and go in the morning.
5 – Place all bags by the door so they are ready to go once you have finished stuffing them.
