Beverly Park review, pics, hours, pavilion rental and events info. Beverly Park AKA Beverly Hills Village Park is a neighborhood park located on Beverly Rd in the Village of Beverly Hills MI. The park is maintained by the Village of Beverly Hills and hosts many of the village’s seasonal recreational events. Beverly Hills Park events include Memorial Day Carnival, Winter Family Fun Day, Halloween events, and more.
Beverly Park is just over 30 acres but packs a lot of amenities into the space. It may be the most well-planned park in Oakland County for its size. Walking into the park, you’re greeted with sand volleyball courts, baseball fields, and sport courts. The tennis courts & basketball courts are in decent shape but could use a little TLC (and resurfacing). A really neat feature near the sports courts is the outdoor ping pong table. I can’t recall seeing one of those in any of our Oakland County parks before.

The walk from the sports fields & courts leads you to a nature trail on the west side of the park that leads you the Beverly Park Sled Hill that we reviewed years ago. It’s one of the finest neighborhood sledding hills in Oakland County and features walk up paths, and 2 sides – 1 side is a long steep hill, and the other hills 2 hills in one. See our review here.
Near the sled hill is a gazebo and another neat addition to the park – fitness stations. A section of the park is dotted with fitness stations that were being used by many during this review. Along the south end of the park is manicured disc golf / frisbee golf course.

The nature trail that connects the south side of the park to the north side is very well taken care of and comes complete with benches and educational stations. Taking the scenic trek north to the parks entrance leads you to a large, modern playscape, large pavilion (see below for rental info), and indoor restrooms. There’s even a FREE library box where kids and adults can pick out a book The Village even tosses out playground balls near the playground each days for anyone to enjoy.

I’ve reviewed a lot of parks in Oakland County that have a lot of nice features. Other parks may have some of the amenities that Beverly Park does, but not all of them (and in such a small space). Beverly Park is worth it just for the sledding, but there’s so much more to enjoy. It truly is an all-seasons park and the Village of Beverly Hills utilizes every opportunity to maximize the park’s potential – at all times of the year. Yes, it’s a “neighborhood park” but it’s a neighborhood park that’s worth the drive to visit even if it isn’t your neighborhood.
The Beverly Park Pavilion is available to rent by both residents and non-residents. Reservations are accepted at the Village Office during business hours. Applicant must be at least 18 years old and provide proof of residency. For more info, call 248-646-6404.
