Boyne Mountain Tennis Academy 2023 summer tennis skills camps info. Tennis Academy at Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls, MI offers excellent tennis instruction from highly experienced instructors. The Academy is open to juniors, high school players, and adults looking to improve their tennis game. The award-winning instructors – Larry Stark and Bill Perlmutter – teach the techniques and skills essential to the game, as well as strategy, while mixing in some fun.
Boyne Mountain Tennis Academy
The Boyne Mountain Tennis Academy is offered each summer and is open to anyone looking to up their tennis game, including those who want to travel to the area and make the tennis academy a part of their vacation destination. The tennis academy sessions are held over a 3 week period, and can be purchased by the day, week, or the full 3 weeks.
Summer 2023 Schedule
- Session #1 – Saturday, May 27 through Sunday, May 28 (from 11a-1p each day)
- Session #2 – Monday, July 17 – Friday, July 21 (from 10a-3p each day)
- Session #3 – Monday, July 24 – Friday, July 28 (from 10a-3p each day)
- Session #4 – Monday, July 31 – Friday, August 4 (from 10a-3p each day)
There are also mini tennis academy session available if you’re looking for something on a smaller scale.
These tennis academy sessions are open to middle and high school boys and girls, and the maximum class size is 16 so be sure to sign up early!

The goal of the Boyne Tennis Academy is to advance tennis players’ overall tennis game with fundamentally sound strokes, teach strategic moves that amp up match play, incorporate a fitness plan to strengthen each player, and to demonstrate tactful court movements.
We’ve had the opportunity to attend the Boyne Tennis Academy and were very pleased with the results. There is a fantastic range of experience among the male AND female campers – from novice, to intermediate, to advanced. Our son showed great improvements in his game after his camp sessions, and moved on to make his Varsity team in high school and eventually moved on to a NAIA tennis scholarship.
