If you love great breakfast food and great prices, you’ll love this restaurant. It’s a small, rustic, restaurant that seats about 50+ (conservatively). Picnic tables dot the restaurant floor and you’re immersed in a charming northern Michigan lodge fishing/camping experience.
BCD Breakfast Review
Don’t let the small space, affordable prices, and rustic experience fool you. Camp Deli has an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. The star of the show at BCD is the breakfast.
The breakfast menu at Brutus features more than 15 entree plate – breakfast favorites and combos featuring pancakes, french toast, eggs, link sausages, omelettes, breakfast quesadillas, and sides. Like all the best restaurants in Northern Michigan, this one uses Plath’s famous meats for the breakfast meats.

BCD Lunch Review and Menu
For lunch, the Camp Deli serves deli sandwiches, subs, and couple of hamburger options. If you’re not in the mood for a big deli sandwich, you can get a customized grilled cheese sandwich, all-beef hot dogs, or even a big PB&J sandwich. Brutus serves their sub sandwiches hot or cold. You also have the option to build your own deli sandwich.
The BC Deli also serves healthy wraps, a soup of the day (seasonal), and has 2 options for salad.
Did I say affordable? Not one entree at BCD, breakfast OR lunch, is priced over $10 at the time of this writing (and most don’t scratch $9 mark)!
OF NOTE – This restaurant does not accept credit cards for payment – it’s cash only (or personal check with proper ID). Also, BCD serves french fries only on weekends – at least that’s what I was told when I dine there. On the weekends, their menu says they serve them after 11a.
