I have often been asked, if I was stranded on a desert island and could only eat one food for my entire life, what would it be? My answer has consistently been PIZZA. It is always a toss-up between my family as to which pizza establishment is our favorite.
Unfortunately, I could not dine in the restaurant as Michigan had moved to curbside pick-up only, but the Buddy’s team was awesome. We often order the same ole same ole, the Buddy’s Hawaiian but decided to go out on a limb this time…why not, we all need some excitement in our lives right now.

Buddy’s Pizza New Menu Items
We ordered the Buffalo Buddy Pizza, brand new to their menu. The pizza is topped with buffalo marinated chicken, fresh red and green onion, blue cheese crumbles, Wisconsin brick cheese and completed with a buffalo sauce drizzle – yum. Don’t forget to rein it in with some house-made ranch…which we always order extra! If you love chicken wings and blue cheese, you have to order this pizza. I promise you will not be disappointed. It has a little heat, but not over the top. I suggest popping it in the oven for a few minutes when you get home, 350 for 5-10 minutes to crisp it up since it is carry-out. This is what we do with all our Buddy’s Pizzas, right now since they are boxed up and driven home. We also had their Buddy’s House Antipasto Salad; it never disappoints, and we order with our pizzas every time.
We finished off our meal with the new Carmel Apple Pizza Dessert – Made on Buddy’s famous double-proofed dough, topped with Hudsonville Ice Cream, layered with crisp granny smith apples and finished off with a warm caramel drizzle. I would like to give a big explanation on how delicious it was, but I only got one bite. My 15-year-old son ate the entire dessert before I could jump in. So, my review is it was delicious. The Michigan-made ice cream, Hudsonville, was so good. It was our first time trying it and we are now only going to buy that kind now.
