Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
Farmington Hills Safety & Crime Prevention Fair – This is a FREE event for the community that is focused on providing preventative information to parents, adults, teens and even kids. Topics being discussed include: Scams/identity theft prevention, safe sleeping practices for infants, medication vs. candy, firearms safety, medication take-back, and other important topics that would benefit the public. There will be a dedicated kids area where kids can color cut-out police cars and badges. The Hawk FH Kick Off 2 Summer – FREE Open House with giant bouncers, tours, giveaways, crafts, and performances. FREE outdoor movie at sunset (around 9p). Concessions available for purchase. All ages FREE event. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department.

Michigan Makers Market at The HAWK Community Center – The juried craft fair will feature fine art, beautiful jewelry, high-quality creative goods, hand-crafted soaps and candy from approximately 50 local artists in various mediums, such as painting, sculpture, fiber, ceramics, printmaking and wearable art. Family Nature Night at the Hawk

The Hawk Sunday Super Bounce – 10a-11:30a (ages 2-5) or 11a-1p (ages 6-11). Once a month on special mornings and afternoons HAWK staff members will set up the inflatable bouncers in the gym to make an arena of fun. Enjoy the big bouncer, bouncer obstacle course, and giant inflatable slide. $5. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department. Pre-registration required. To register.
