Color Hunt Nature Scavenger Hunt – The nature scavenger hunt is for the little explorers out there, ages 3-6. Look at the colors of nature and “matching” the color chips to things we see on our outdoor adventure. Enjoy some books and songs about colors together. Cost: $3/person. Soggy Doggy at Deer Lake Beach – Bring your dog to the beach to swim, play, fetch, and socialize. This is a FREE event. Pre-registration is required along with record of rabies & DHLPP vaccinations. Wint Nature Center Puddle Jumper Series – at Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks County Park 248-625-6473. Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the great outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and related activity. Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry.
