Animal Archaeology – Join us as we visit a number of different sites to excavate animal bones. We will attempt to identify the bones using various tools in hopes of determining what caused the animal’s demise. Tap into your inner Indiana Jones and join us for this first ever hands on adventure.

Parent & Child Hike in the Woods – Join in for a light hike in the woods with a Rochester Hills Naturalist. Enjoy getting exercise while learning about the nature, plants, and animals that we have in our community! Parents are expected to join in on the hike with their child. Please bring a mask to wear when within 6 feet of others.

Adaptive Nature Hike with Naturalist – This program is designed for people with disabilities. Join us for a light hike in the woods with Ms. Wendy and a Rochester Hills Naturalist. Rochester Hills Campfire & Night Hike – at Bloomer Park (375 John R Road, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309)

Bloomer Park Antler Amble – at Bloomer Park. Hosted by the City of Rochester Hills. Each winter, white-tailed deer shed their antlers only to grow new ones in the spring. Learn about this amazing cycle then search the trails and wooded areas in Bloomer Park for dropped antlers. Dress for the weather and walking in the woods, rain or shine. You can take home any antlers you may find. Recommended for ages 7+, children under 12 must be accompanied by a paid adult. You can purchase tickets on eventbrite.

Bloomer Park Making Maple Syrup – 11a-12:30p OR 1p-2:30p (2 sessions to choose from). Learn the first steps to make your own Maple Syrup. From identifying various species of maple tree, to the tree tapping process and sap boiling setup. You’ll leave with all the knowledge you need to make your own syrup and the Spile, Tubing, and Bucket to tap your own Maple Tree.
