Indian Springs Mothers Day Hike – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com). A guided hike along the
nature trails to learn about the blooms and wildlife we see along the way and appreciate their beauty up close as we celebrate the holiday together out in nature. $3 Child / $5 Adult. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280.

Farmington Memorial Day Parade
Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Skull Island Camp Open House at Skull Island Camp (248-789-2223, www.skullislandcamp.com). Tour Skull Island, meet the
staff, and preview Skull Island camps at this fun event. Kids can try out the zip lines, fish, climb on the climbing walls & pirate ships, and more. Pontoon Boat ride shuttles run all day to and from the camp. Check out Skull Island for FREE.

Detroit VegFest
Detroit VegFest – The state’s largest plant-based event returns to Eastern Market for a second year with nearly 100 vendors, including popular plant-based restaurants, specialty food items, and eco-friendly shopping. Farmington Summer Concerts
Farmington Summer Concerts at Riley Park – Riley Park in Farmington, Michigan will host free summer concerts on Friday nights at the Walter E Sundquist Pavilion as part of the Rhythmz in Riley Park concert series.
Also usually featured at Riley Park will be the Lunch Beats noon-time summer concert series every Wednesday this summer.
Concerts run every Friday from 7p-9p and feature pop music, folk, country, rock-a-billy and more. Chairs and blankets are recommended.

Chandler Park Sounds of Summer
Chandler Park Sounds of Summer – This is a FREE, family-friendly performance featuring musicians from the Detroit Symphony
