Animal Archaeology – Join us as we visit a number of different sites to excavate animal bones. We will attempt to identify the bones using various tools in hopes of determining what caused the animal’s demise. Tap into your inner Indiana Jones and join us for this first ever hands on adventure.
When: Sunday September 13th, 1-3pm
Where: Meet at the Mountain Ash Shelter in Bloomer Park

Bloomer Park Antler Amble – at Bloomer Park. Hosted by the City of Rochester Hills. Each winter, white-tailed deer shed their antlers only to grow new ones in the spring. Learn about this amazing cycle then search the trails and wooded areas in Bloomer Park for dropped antlers. Dress for the weather and walking in the woods, rain or shine.
