Light Up Beacon Park
Light Up Beacon Park is family fun at Beacon Park in Detroit. Children of all ages are invited to experience “Toyland” at Beacon Park with larger-than-life light features, including a Choo-Choo Train, Giant Teddy Bear and other photo moments. These new and returning interactive lighting features, totaling more than 125,000 twinkling LED lights will illuminate Beacon Park. Opening Night 11/18 from 5p-11:30p features dancers, live entertainment, live reindeer, Santa, and more. Hosted by the Downton Detroit Partnership.

Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present. Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks
Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks – Interact with vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the Detroit Zoo. At Tons of Trucks, you’ll touch and climb trucks, lifts and carts used by Detroit Zoo staff, and see vehicles from local police and fire departments, construction companies and more.
