Light Up Beacon Park is family fun at Beacon Park in Detroit. Children of all ages are invited to experience “Toyland” at Beacon Park with larger-than-life light features, including a Choo-Choo Train, Giant Teddy Bear and other photo moments. These new and returning interactive lighting features, totaling more than 125,000 twinkling LED lights will illuminate Beacon Park. Sheep Shearing and Pancake Breakfast

Hosted by Waterford Parks & Recreation. Enjoy the farm animals, make & take craft, the annual sheep shearing, and a pancake breakfast. Admission is FREE but donations are being accepted to benefit the park/farm. Pancake breakfast cost is $5 for 10 & under and $8 for ages 11+.
O.A.K. in the Hills
O.A.K. in the Hills at Spencer Park. Enjoy archery, camping, yoga, rock wall, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking,
reptiles, pickleball, zip line and more during O.A.K. in the Hills Outdoor Adventure Kickoff. All ages are welcome and admission is FREE. This event is sponsored by Oakland County Parks and Recreation and the City Rochester Hills.
