Troy Daisy Knight Dog Park Halloween Events – Howl-O-Ween – Bring your costumed dog to the puppy patch to play and show off their costume. Photo spot, treats, and dog park access included. Detroit Grand Circus Dog Park Halloween Costume Party – Owners are encouraged to dress their pets to impress for a chance to win a prize in one of these categories: Best Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Creative Costume, and the Best Pet & Parent combination. The annual event will also feature Halloween Themed games and gifts for dogs as well as treats for their parents and DJ spinning tracks. Hosted by the Downtown Detroit Partnership.

Stony Creek Fall Wagon Tours – at Stony Creek Metropark – 90 minute wagon tours. Book either a 10a or 1p ride. Hop on the tractor-drawn wagon and enjoy the beauty of fall along a Nature Trail. Along the way, staff will share stories about Stony Creek’s history and various natural features. After your tour, enjoy a roaring campfire to celebrate the season. Program is weather dependent. Stony Creek Metropark Kids Night at the Nature Center – Drop your kids off and enjoy your Friday night, kid-free. Your kids will have a blast as they meet the nature center animals, including our nocturnal opossum. They’ll get a chance to explore outside along a trail, looking for tracks in the moonlight, gazing at the growing moon, and listening for owl calls and coyote howls. Kids will warm up around our campfire and cook s’mores. Snacks will be provided. Ages 7-12. $10 per child. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113.

Lions Game Viewing at Emagine

Lions Game Viewing at Emagine – Watch the Detroit Lions take on the LA Rams on the big screen at participating Emagine Theatres. Royal Oak, Novi, Canton, Saline, and Rochester Hills Emagine Theatres are giving fans the opportunity to watch the game on the BIG screen for FREE. Seating is limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are free but can only be picked up at participating Emagine Theatre box office locations beginning at 5p on January 14. Group tickets are available for up to 8 guests, unless all guests in your party are present at the time of pickup. Each participating theatre location will be hosting giveaways during half-time. All attendees will be eligible to win. Participating Emagine Theaters will be offering game day concession specials.

UPDATE 1/10/24 – Per Emagine Theatre – ” Due to overwhelming high demand, tickets are now available at all participating box office locations for this Sunday’s game. Two new Emagine Theatre locations have also been added to the list of participating theatres showing the game. When available, Emagine plans to open additional auditoriums to accommodate the demand of fans. “
