Stony Creek Fall Wagon Tours – at Stony Creek Metropark – 90 minute wagon tours. Book either a 10a or 1p ride. Hop on the tractor-drawn wagon and enjoy the beauty of fall along a Nature Trail. Along the way, staff will share stories about Stony Creek’s history and various natural features. After your tour, enjoy a roaring campfire to celebrate the season. Program is weather dependent. Troy Daisy Knight Dog Park Halloween Events – Howl-O-Ween – Bring your costumed dog to the puppy patch to play and show off their costume. Photo spot, treats, and dog park access included. Detroit Grand Circus Dog Park Halloween Costume Party – Owners are encouraged to dress their pets to impress for a chance to win a prize in one of these categories: Best Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Creative Costume, and the Best Pet & Parent combination. The annual event will also feature Halloween Themed games and gifts for dogs as well as treats for their parents and DJ spinning tracks. Hosted by the Downtown Detroit Partnership.

Stony Creek Metropark Kids Night at the Nature Center – Drop your kids off and enjoy your Friday night, kid-free. Your kids will have a blast as they meet the nature center animals, including our nocturnal opossum. They’ll get a chance to explore outside along a trail, looking for tracks in the moonlight, gazing at the growing moon, and listening for owl calls and coyote howls. Kids will warm up around our campfire and cook s’mores. Snacks will be provided. Ages 7-12. $10 per child. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113.
