Farmington Hills Try Hockey for FREE – “Try Hockey for Free” Clinics are a great way for boys and girls ages 12 and under to try out the sport of hockey without having to make the investment into equipment. There’s no experience necessary – Suburban Ice provide the instructors and the equipment for you to use. Pre-registration required to save your child’s spot here. Hosted by Suburban Ice Farmington Hills.

Sheep Shearing and Pancake Breakfast – (248-674-5441, www.waterfordmi.gov)
Hosted by Waterford Parks & Recreation. Enjoy the farm animals, make & take craft, the annual sheep shearing, and a pancake breakfast. Admission is FREE but donations are being accepted to benefit the park/farm. Pancake breakfast cost is $5 for 10 & under and $8 for ages 11+.

Holly Movies in the Park at dusk at Crapo Park. Concessions will be available for purchase. The free summer outdoor movies begin at dusk. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and don’t forget the popcorn! Refreshments and concessions will be sold for a small fee.
