Maybury Farm Easter Egg-Stravaganza Egg Hunt – at 10a (Gates Open at 9:30a). Enjoy egg hunts, StoryTime, face painting, seed planting, fun costumed characters, food trucks, and more. $5 per car, payable at the gate (cash only). Limited to the first 700 children. Troy Community Center Puzzle Palooza – (248-524-3484). Teams of 2, 3, or 4 will compete against each
other to see who can finish a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle the quickest. Team fee includes puzzles to compete with and light snacks/refreshments. Indian Springs Preschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts. Ages 3-6. $3 Child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play
Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play at the Fitness Center – (248-524-3484). Free for fitness members
or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. The gym will have a variety of age appropriate toys to ride, push, or explore. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an individual aged 16 or older. Novi Memorial Day Events – Novi Memorial Day Ceremony. Commemorate the lives of our service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice with a patriotic concert and a flag honor walk. The event will conclude with a wreath laying, playing of Taps, twenty-one-gun salute, and a moment of silence and reflection to remember those who were lost. This event is open to the community.
