Rochester Heritage Days Festival 2017 – Info for the 2017 Heritage Festival at Municipal Park in Downtown Rochester. The annual May event will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 11a-6 and Sunday, May 21 from 11a-5p.

The Rochester Heritage Days festival takes place in the scenic Municipal Park in downtown Rochester. Greater Rochester Heritage Days is put on by a volunteer committee and serves to expose people to the fascinating history of our area and benefits numerous Rochester area nonprofits.

The festival opens on Saturday, May 20 at 11a. This year’s Rochester Heritage Days Festival will feature a craft show, car shows, food, Pioneer Playground, historical displays, demos, entertainment, Civil War re-enactments, Flotable Boatables, and more!
The festival’s Heritage Area will include numerous exhibits from the Rochester-Avon Historical Society, the Oakland Township Historical Society, and the local chapters of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution. There will also be demonstrators in chair caning, tatting, rug hooking, wheel-spinning, and quilting.
