Maybury Farm Easter Egg-Stravaganza Egg Hunt – at 10a (Gates Open at 9:30a). Enjoy egg hunts, StoryTime, face painting, seed planting, fun costumed characters, food trucks, and more. $5 per car, payable at the gate (cash only). Limited to the first 700 children. Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts. Ages 3-6. $3 Child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
