Troy Maple Syrup Time
Troy Maple Syrup Time – at Stage Nature Center. Take a guided tour through the sugar bush of the Stage Nature Center to discover how maple trees make sugar and how people have harvested it through the ages. This family-friendly program highlights natural and local history of our region. Tour includes a visit to the sugar shed to see a wood-stoked evaporator in action and activities to learn more about syrup making. Everyone will sample maple treats and children will have an opportunity to make a simple craft. Shop for Michigan-made maple syrup, cream, candy and more. Tours every 15 minutes. Lake Orion / Orion Twp Easter Bunny Bop – at Orion Center 9:30a, 11a, & 12:30p (3 different sessions)
Photo visit with a special bunny, refreshments, craft projects an egg hunt with toys and candy-stuffed eggs and a few other surprises. Bring your own basket for filling with candy and prizes. Youth will be broken down by age for equal opportunity hunting for all. Pre-registration required, spaces are limited. Egg hunt will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather.
