Royal Oak In Bloom

Royal Oak In Bloom – in the Parking Lots (located at 600 S Main Street and 700 S Main Street as well as 7th Street between Main and Center Street in downtown Royal Oak). Local and regional farmers bring an impressive array of annuals, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets, vegetables and more for your every gardening interest. In addition to the wonderful selection of plants, there will be an abundance of other outdoor items available, including hand-made wind chimes, stepping stones, beaded basket hangers, and even rain barrels. Royal Oak in Bloom is FREE to the public. LEGOLAND Mini Master Model Builder Competition

LEGOLAND Mini Master Model Builder Competition – LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan (248-409-6009, legolanddiscoverycenter.com/michigan)

Children ages 5-10 are invited to enter this competition. Contestants will compete with other mini LEGO® fans to build their very own creation entirely out of LEGO® bricks. Each Contestant Receives – Free Admission for themselves and 2 family members (or friends), 50% off tickets for up to 4 more guests to watch, A special prize just for participating. Winner will have an opportunity to represent the great ‘Mitten State’ and virtually compete for the title of the Mini Master Model Builder of North America. Register HERE.

Heritage Park Splash Pad Opening Day

Heritage Park Splash Pad Opening Day at Splash Pad at Heritage Park (248-536-5617, www.ci.farmington-hills.mi.us). Heritage Park has a small splash pad at the north end of the park near the north shelter / picnic

Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade

Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present. Full Moon Fridays Farmington Hills – Enjoy the evening air as you head into Heritage Park after dark at a Full

Moon Friday Night Hike. Listen for nocturnal animals, observe the night sky, and heighten your senses along the way. Cost is $5 per person. Pre-registration required.
