Movie Nights in the D at Campus Martius Park – Enjoy award-winning films on the big screen at Campus Martius Park during the DDP’s free outdoor movie series. Bring your own chair or blanket for a relaxing summer evening set in the heart of the city. Popcorn is available for purchase.

FREE Science Center Traveling Science Kickoff Event

FREE Science Center Traveling Science Kickoff Event at Michigan Science Center. The annual free event

takes place outside of Mi-Sci’s main entrance featuring live science demonstrations and hands-on activities. The first 250 people to arrive will receive free admission inside of Mi-Sci for a special day which includes Traveling Science activities. Registration required. Pre-register here. Stony Creek Nighttime Nature

Stony Creek Nighttime Nature at Stony Creek Metropark – Stony Creek Metropark – (586-781-4242,

metroparks.com). A short presentation from a naturalist followed by an evening out on a nature walk. Ages 8+. $5 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113.
