Heritage Park Maple Sugaring
Heritage Park Maple Sugaring in Your Own Backyard – four 1-hr time slots to choose from each day. Discover the basics of making maple syrup from your own Maple tree. Witness the process of collecting sap and boiling it down over a campfire. Enjoy a free syrup treat. Syrup products and sugaring supplies will be available for participants to purchase. All ages. $7. Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. Meadow Brook Hall Twilight Tours at Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens (248-364-6200,
meadowbrookhall.org). Enjoy stationed touring and light refreshments and a cash bar in a spectacular setting. Bring a date or friends to sip a cocktail while the sun sets over the Great Estate in this beautiful evening experience. O.A.K. in the Hills
O.A.K. in the Hills at Spencer Park. Enjoy archery, camping, yoga, rock wall, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking,
reptiles, pickleball, zip line and more during O.A.K. in the Hills Outdoor Adventure Kickoff. All ages are welcome and admission is FREE. This event is sponsored by Oakland County Parks and Recreation and the City Rochester Hills.

Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.

Geary Park Skate Jam
Geary Park Skate Jam at Geary Skate Park. Skate contests presented by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. This event will feature
competitions in 4 categories: skateboarding, inline skating, BMX, and scooters. Participants will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in each category.
