South Lyon Daddy Daughter Dance – 3p-5p or 6p-8p (2 sessions to choose from). Open to non-residents. 70s Theme. The dance is broken down into two time slots; 3-5pm and 6-8pm. SLARA recommends that children 6 & under sign up for the first time slot. Children 7+ sign up for the 6-8pm time slot. This is only a recommendation, children 3+ are invited to both time slot. Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. South Lyon Easter Egg Scramble – 15,000 fun filled eggs. 4 fields for all age groups. Meet firefighters, police officers, and the Easter Bunny. Event is hosted by Kiwanis Club of South Lyon who recommends arrival between 11a-noon.
