Shelby Lions Club Carnival – Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights will
host the annual carnival put on by the Shelby Twp Lions Club this Spring. This event will be a fundraiser for the organization. This event will be held at Lakeside Mall.
The 11-day carnival has rides and food featured by North American Midway Entertainment.

Michigan Antique Festival
Michigan Antique Festival in Davisburg will take place on select weekends in May and October. Michigan
Antique Festival at Springfield Oaks County Park in Davisburg runs 8a-6p Saturday, and 9a-4p Sunday. Michigan Antique Festival is Michigan’s largest antique and collectible festival. Browse over 80 acres of antiques and collectibles from over 1000 dealers, enjoy a classic car show, food, live entertainment, and more! Parking is FREE. Hosted by MichiganAntiqueFestival.com.

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program
Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Independence Oaks – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats
are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements. Clarkston Memorial Day Event
Clarkston Memorial Day Event at Lakeview Cemetery. Event includes the Color Guard performing a rifle
volley, raising of the flag and the playing of Taps, the Clarkston High School Band and Ladies in Mourning. For more information, call 248-625-9912 after 4p. This year, due to concerns over closing the road, there will be no parade. Hosted by American Legion Campbell-Richmond Post 63 and Independence Twp.

Farmington Memorial Day Parade
Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event.
