South Lyon Daddy Daughter Dance – 3p-5p or 6p-8p (2 sessions to choose from). Open to non-residents. 70s Theme. The dance is broken down into two time slots; 3-5pm and 6-8pm. SLARA recommends that children 6 & under sign up for the first time slot. Children 7+ sign up for the 6-8pm time slot. This is only a recommendation, children 3+ are invited to both time slot. Bunny & Barks at Daisy Knight Dog Park – Easter Bunny at Daisy Knight Dog Park for your dog to visit and get their pictures taken. Troy Rec will have the small dog area blocked off for this event, so your pup can run and play with some friends. Time slots available for dogs 50+ lbs, 25-50 lbs, and under 25 lbs. $9 residents. $12 non-residents. Pre-registration required. Online registration. Hosted by Troy Recreation.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
