Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. All ages are welcome, but everyone that enters must pay the admission fee. Each family must have an adult present. This is an outdoor event hosted by Southfield Parks & Recreation. More info…

Winter Sky Treasures – Register with the Oakland Township Parks/Rec to join the Oakland Astronomy Club at Marsh View Park for live telescopic views of the first quarter Moon, the stellar nursery in Orion, and the bright stars of the Winter skies using video cameras and monitors. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.

More winter festivals

Per Oakland Twp Parks and Rec: Oakland Township’s Winter Carnival on January 27 has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Bear Creek Nature Park field is currently waterlogged and slushy as a result of the warming weather, snow melt, and rain.
