Rochester Winter Festival – Downtown Rochester Snowglow
Throughout Downtown Rochester
The Snowglow will include ice sculptures lining the streets, live ice carving demonstrations and, of course, The Big, Bright Light Show. This is year’s ice sculpture theme is “Christmas Cheer”. Don’t miss carvings of your holiday favorites including Buddy The Elf, Frosty the Snowman, the Christmas Vacation Station wagon and many more. Also on Saturday from 11a – 2 p, visitors are invited to enjoy an Ice Carving Competition on West Fourth Street. For more info, visit DowntownRochesterMI.com. Bloomfield Hills Winter Fun – Bower Farms Winter Park

Skating – Weather permitting and bring your own skates. Skating is FREE. Winter Park has much to offer including tubing and glow tubing (appointments required), ice skating (weather permitting, bring your own skates), hot cocoa, bonfires, food at the Farmers Kitchen and more. Tubing (unfortunately) isn’t FREE and you have to pre-register which takes the starch out of a spur-of-the-moment experience. Tubing rates are by the hour and you must register for an appointment.

“The Plymouth Ice Festival invites your to explore downtown Plymouth, with sidewalks lined with ice carvings. To help with social distancing, we are spreading over 65 ice carving displays, in front of merchants and restaurants, in the downtown area. To limit crowd gathering, we have postponed all live ice carving competitions and other interactive activities, until the 2022 Festival. There is only one group registration per start time so talk to your crew and then pick the open time slot that works best for you.
