Indian Springs Homeschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Homeschool Nature Club is a monthly drop off program geared towards homeschool children ages 7-14 years old. The third Thursday of each month will cover a different topic with a lesson, hike, fun experiments, and activities. This is a great chance to supplement your at-home learning. Ages 7-14. $10 Child. Indian Springs Metropark Easter Egg Scramble
Indian Springs Metropark Easter Egg Scramble Along the Trail at Indian Springs Metropark Participants will search for eggs hidden in themed locations along the trail. Keep an eye out for our favorite busy bunny getting ready for Easter. Bring your camera to capture photos along the way. Please bring a basket or bag to collect eggs. All ages event. $6 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.

Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature three parks, with areas for younger children. The schedule is as follows – 1p – Wilson Park (For Ages 1-4 Only); 1:30p – Geary Park; 2p – Martin Road Park.
At each site, children will have the opportunity to gather as many prize-filled eggs as they can. One egg in each section contains a special golden ticket that will grant its finder with a special Easter basket. Geary Park and Martin Road Park will each have an area dedicated to younger children (ages 1-4) and older children (ages 5-11). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. This is a FREE event, no pre-registration is required, but please consider donating to support Ferndale P&R programming. Hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. Southfield Daddy Daughter Dance
Southfield Daddy Daughter Dance – Young ladies ages 2-14 and younger are invited to dress their best for this special night. Each girl will receive a special gift. Southfield Great Marshmallow Drop
Southfield Great Marshmallow Drop – 15,000 marshmallows are dropped from a helicopter. Participants then need to collect only one marshmallow that can be exchanged for a prize. There are four drop zone groups: Children ages 4 years and younger; children ages 5-7; and children ages 8-12. The drop for individuals with disabilities will begin at 11:30a.
