Royal Oak Skate with Santa at Lindell Ice Arena. Arrive early to check out the FREE Holiday Ice Show performed by New Edge Figure Skaters at 1:30p. Skate with Santa follows at 3:30p. Public skates are $10 per skater, but you may want to call 248-246-3950 to confirm because no price is listed for the Santa event. Per Oakland Twp Parks and Rec: Oakland Township’s Winter Carnival on January 27 has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Bear Creek Nature Park field is currently waterlogged and slushy as a result of the warming weather, snow melt, and rain.
