Kensington Metropark Hayride Adventure – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Take part behind the scenes as the draft horses are harnessed and hitched to the wagon. Learn what the different elements of their harness do and how they work together. When the horses are dressed and ready, you’ll be all set for a relaxing hayride along the farm’s wooded trails. Milford Movies at Central Park – Milford Twp is hosting their FREE Milford Picnic and Movies series in Downtown Milford on select days through the summer. Movies start at dusk. Milford Community Picnics take place at Central Park and feature games, bouncers, refreshments, hot dogs, climbing wall, pony rides & petting farm, crafts, and science alive.

Clawson Fall Festival – Clawson City Park. Celebrate the beginning of fall with an afternoon of fun! The day includes free hayrides, farm animals, inflatables, baked goods 4 sale, games and more. Clawson Halloween Trick or Treat Trail – Clawson City Park. Bring a flashlight and a bag for all the candy you’ll collect from local businesses and organizations along the trail. Clawson Halloween Trick or Treasure – Downtown Clawson becomes a safe zone for all the kids. Christmas in Clawson Craft Show – Find special, one-of-a-kind gifts, from soaps and candles and quilts and jewelry to furniture and beyond, all hand-made by dozens of talented artists. All proceeds from this non-profit, volunteer-run charity event are proudly donated to Clawson, Michigan’s public school students, teachers, and families directly through our local PTOs and PTSAs. The Big Reveal Milford Christmas Event – Stores on Main Street in Downtown Milford reveal festive holiday Christmas and holiday window displays to their stores. Come downtown and watch the kids “unwrap” the storefronts. Local merchants will wrap their storefronts on Tuesday, get busy, and reveal their holiday best on Thursday night.
