Egg-cellent Eggsperiments – (586-781-4242, metroparks.com). Egg-sperience this hands-on fun with eggs program.Creatively dye some eggs, squish some eggs and bounce some eggs. Discover why the shape and color of eggs are so important in nature. All materials supplied (including eggs) for these messy but fun egg-speriments. Ages 5-15. $5 per child / Adults are FREE . Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Daily & annual vehicle permits are on sale NOW. Oakland Mall Easter Bunny Pet Photos – Photo packages are available for purchase. Please enter the mall through the main entrance, near the food court. Cats and dogs, only. All pets must be in a carrier or on a 6 ft leash at all times. Owners are responsible for being in control of their pets at all times. Pets are not allowed in stores.
Sensory Santa at Oakland Mall – Individuals with all spectrums of special needs and their families are invited to a private photo session where extra care is taken to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs to make this a magical holiday experience. There is no admission charge. Photo packages will be available for purchase for the event. Pre-registration is required and can be booked online.
Oakland Mall Pet Photos with Santa – Enter through the main entrance near the food court. All pets must be in a carrier OR on a 6ft leash. Pets are not allowed in stores. Owners are responsible for being in control of their pets at all times. Pre-registration required.
Downtown Milford 4th of July Parade – Downtown Milford. Due to road closures, this year’s event will take a new scenic route. The parade will begin at 11a on Cabinet Street and will proceed east on Commerce Street to Main Street. Then, will head south on Main Street to end at the entrance of Central Park. For the best parade view, set up a seat along the stretch of Commerce Street from Cabinet to Main Street. You can expect to see proud veterans, color guards, marching bands and more proudly make their way through the route while the community cheers them on. Oakland Mall Witchypoo Revue – Dance and sing along with Witchypoo and all of her Halloween friends in a musical spooktacular. 1p, 2p, 3p, & 4p. Each performance will be followed by a brief meet & greet. No ticket required. Arrive early for best viewing. Limited seating available. Costumes welcome. Trick-or-treating will be available at this event at select Oakland Mall stores. Hosted by Oakland Mall.
