Lake Orion Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park – S Broadway St, Downtown Lake Orion. Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway. Immediately following, everyone is invited for pizza and pop across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway. This is a FREE, rain or shine event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.
Lavender Lane Farms Lavender Harvest Festival – Admission is $15. Children 12 & under are FREE. Stroll through 10,000+ lavender plants in peak bloom. Enjoy fresh U-PICK lavender, fresh and dried lavender bundles, live music, drinks, food truck rally, petting farm, pony rides, photo ops (cell phone only), 75+ local artisans, and more. Wint Nature Center Puddle Jumper Series – at Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks County Park 248-625-6473. Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the great outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and related activity. Each child will receive a craft kit to take and make at home. This series meets the second Friday of each month. Cost: $4/child. Call 248-858-0916 weekdays to register. Oakland Mall Witchypoo Revue – Dance and sing along with Witchypoo and all of her Halloween friends in a musical spooktacular. 1p, 2p, 3p, & 4p. Each performance will be followed by a brief meet & greet. No ticket required. Arrive early for best viewing. Limited seating available. Costumes welcome. Royal Oak Skate with Santa at Lindell Ice Arena. Arrive early to check out the FREE Holiday Ice Show performed by New Edge Figure Skaters at 1:30p. Skate with Santa follows at 3:30p. Public skates are $10 per skater, but you may want to call 248-246-3950 to confirm because no price is listed for the Santa event.
