Ferndale Drive In Movies at 5:30p & 8:45p at Ferndale High School. Ferndale Parks and Recreation is hosting a pair of outdoor Drive In movies.  The first viewing will be of Trolls World Tour (PG) at 6:15p, and the second will be of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (PG-13) at 9p. Tickets for each individual viewing are just $25 per vehicle ($30 after May 27). Pre-registration required.

Waterford Oaks County Park FREE Platform Tennis Open House – Waterford Oaks County Park Near Paradise Peninsula Playscape. This free clinic is a opportunity to test drive the sport of platform tennis. Extra equipment available on site for first time players or those who do not have their own paddles or paddle balls. Instruction from Waterford Paddle Club. Dress for the weather. Tennis shoes required for the courts. No membership required for clinic. No pre-registration or previous experience needed. Dearborn Historical Museum Teddy Bear Picnic – Activities include games, crafts, parade, bear first aid, and more. Contest for the largest bear, fuzziest bear, best dressed bear, most look-alike bear. FREE A & W root beer and popcorn. $3 per child. Hosted by the Dearborn Historical Museum. Select Emagine Theatres will be hosting THE BIG GAME on THE BIG SCREEN for the most anticipated Football game of the year! Guests are welcome to watch it live for FREE on the big screen at select Emagine locations. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets can be picked up at the theatre’s box office on game-day. Representatives from Remy will be on-site at these locations offering tastings to enhance your experience.

Guests in attendance can take part in the Game-Day Smash Box Food Sampler for only $26.00. Sampler Boxes will be available beginning at 5:00pm and include: 4 Chicken Tenders, Cheese Curds (9oz), and Chicken Bacon Jalapeno Quesadillas

Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims. Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. To register, call 248-858-0916. Lions Game Viewing at Emagine

Lions Game Viewing at Emagine – Watch the Detroit Lions take on the LA Rams on the big screen at participating Emagine Theatres. Royal Oak, Novi, Canton, Saline, and Rochester Hills Emagine Theatres are giving fans the opportunity to watch the game on the BIG screen for FREE. Seating is limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are free but can only be picked up at participating Emagine Theatre box office locations beginning at 5p on January 14. Group tickets are available for up to 8 guests, unless all guests in your party are present at the time of pickup. Each participating theatre location will be hosting giveaways during half-time. All attendees will be eligible to win. Participating Emagine Theaters will be offering game day concession specials.

UPDATE 1/10/24 – Per Emagine Theatre – ” Due to overwhelming high demand, tickets are now available at all participating box office locations for this Sunday’s game. Two new Emagine Theatre locations have also been added to the list of participating theatres showing the game. When available, Emagine plans to open additional auditoriums to accommodate the demand of fans. “
