Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
Ferndale Drive In Movies at 5:30p & 8:45p at Ferndale High School. Ferndale Parks and Recreation is hosting a pair of outdoor Drive In movies. The first viewing will be of Trolls World Tour (PG) at 6:15p, and the second will be of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (PG-13) at 9p. Tickets for each individual viewing are just $25 per vehicle ($30 after May 27). Pre-registration required.

Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. This free clinic is a opportunity to test drive the sport of platform tennis. Extra equipment available on site for first time players or those who do not have their own paddles or paddle balls. Instruction from Waterford Paddle Club. Dress for the weather. Tennis shoes required for the courts. No membership required for clinic. No pre-registration or previous experience needed. Hosted by Waterford Parks & Recreation. Enjoy the farm animals, make & take craft, the annual sheep shearing, and a pancake breakfast. Admission is FREE but donations are being accepted to benefit the park/farm. Pancake breakfast cost is $5 for 10 & under and $8 for ages 11+.

Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim
Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims: Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry, a gift for owner, and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows.
