Indian Springs Preschool Nature Explorers at Indian Springs Metropark – (248-625-6640, metroparks.com)
Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts. Ages 3-6. $3 Child / Adults FREE. Pre-registration required. Advanced pre-registration required online or call 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Mayfair Co-Op Mom2Mom Sale – Mom to Mom Sales are a great place to sell your children’s outgrown and gently used items or for those who do direct sales for businesses such as Tupperware, Thirty-One Bags, or Young Living. Farmington Memorial Day Parade
Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Farmington Summer Concerts
Farmington Summer Concerts at Riley Park – Riley Park in Farmington, Michigan will host free summer concerts on Friday nights at the Walter E Sundquist Pavilion as part of the Rhythmz in Riley Park concert series.
Also usually featured at Riley Park will be the Lunch Beats noon-time summer concert series every Wednesday this summer.
Concerts run every Friday from 7p-9p and feature pop music, folk, country, rock-a-billy and more. Chairs and blankets are recommended.
