Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
Detroit Zoo GreenFest
Detroit Zoo GreenFest – The Zoo-wide experience includes demonstrations by the Detroit Zoological Society’s Green Team, conservation education, citizen science projects and exhibits by local conservation groups. Enjoy Green Education stations, animal habitat chats, green food trucks, live music and more. GreenFest is FREE with zoo admission. For more info, visit detroitzoo.org.

Adaptive Needs Race
Adaptive Needs Race – A Good Night for A Run – at Bishop Foley High School. The Agape Project has 6 Hoyt Adaptive Running
chairs for riders and runners to race around the track at Bishop Foley High School, Thursday, August 8 race time 7p. This will be a festive and timed event for participants and spectators. This is a FREE event. Subscribe and sign-up at TheAgapeProject.com.

Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks
Detroit Zoo Tons of Trucks – Interact with vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the Detroit Zoo. At Tons of Trucks, you’ll touch and climb trucks, lifts and carts used by Detroit Zoo staff, and see vehicles from local police and fire departments, construction companies and more. Zoo admission plus event for adults is $22 / $19 for kids. Does not include parking ($8). Tickets must be purchased in advance. Purchase tickets here
